2011 Festival in Sycamore

The 19th annual Festival in Sycamore promised to be better than ever--and it was!  Patrons who joined the fun experienced great music, food and fun!!  The location was Bechtold Park, 4312 Sycamore Rd.  Open from 6:00 P.M. – midnight each day, thousands of friends, families and neighbors joined together for a night of fun entertainment.  With over 15 different vendors selling food and drink, no one left hungry.  At the El Pueblo booth, we offered our famous tacos, quesadillas, and nachos for a small price of just $2, $3 and $3, respectively.  With the choices of chicken, beef and cheese, these items were as always, a huge hit!

After filling up on the finest foods of Sycamore, patrons flocked to the stage for two great nights music!  The entertainment consisted of a Gammy nominated band, AMBROSIA, a local favorite, THE MODULATORS, and classic rock giant, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD.  The entertainment lineup included the following:

Friday, July 15th

6:00 P.M. – Gee Your Band Smells Terrific
7:30 P.M. – The Modulators
9:15 P.M. – AMBROSIA

Saturday, July 16th

6:00 P.M. – Basic Truth
7:30 P.M. – After Midnight
