2011 Marvin Lewis Golf Classic

On May 22nd, 2011, El Pueblo and Sammy's Gourmet Burgers & Beers supported the Marvin Lewis Golf Classic by providing a food stand on the 7th hole for golfers who could stop and enjoy a taste of Mexico and American gourmet burgers.  Food we donated included the choice of either: nachos, quesadillas, tacos, Sammy sliders, Hawaiian sliders, and garlic fries made fresh upon order.  Every year Marvin Lewis holds a Golf Classic through his community fund that raises money for a great cause--education!  This year's Golf Classic fundraiser was held at Shaker Run Golf Club in Lebanon, Ohio and had current and former Bengals players in attendence.  This year, the fundraiser collected enough money to award 5 outstanding student athletes 4 year, $20,000 scholarships!  This brings the Marvin Lewis Community Fund to a toal of 43 scholarships awarded since its inception!!  Check out the photo album for snapshots of this great cause and Bengals players enjoying our finests tastes of Mexico!   WHO DEY!!
